What's with the freakin' SHEEP?

Welcome to the New and Improved Rancid Raves! Many, many thanks to Zoot for this - she did an AWESOME job and achieved exactly what I was striving for in a new design. I wanted something silly with a sheep theme - I've always loved the irony of cartoon sheep because frankly, sheep are pretty disgusting in real life. Also, fluffy, white cartoon sheep are so sweet, simple and downright cute. Which is SO not me NOR my blog. More irony for you - how cool is that??

One of the new changes you will notice is that I am going back to Blogger commenting - I had debated doing this anyway. When I had switched to Haloscan, Blogger commenting was a real drag.....I really did like Haloscan, but think that going back to Blogger commenting will be easier in the future. Unfortunately, this means that all past comments have been erased which means that my blog now looks like a sad, lonely blog complete with chirping crickets. Of course, maybe some of you nice people will kindly take pity on me and de-lurk to comment on what a great job Zoot did.

Again - here's a huge shout-out to Zoot! Thanks!

I LOVE this theme. As a high schooler I had PJ's that were flannel with hot pink sheep with an intermittent gray one thrown in.

The sheep make me smile!

Love the design! This Zoot, she/he is verra verra talented.

The only thing that could make it better is if the sheep were lapping from martini glasses.

Monkey,
When I pondered the idea of my sister drawing something as a design, the theme would have been sheep playing canasta and drinking martinis. Great minds think alike, I do believe.

Amanda,
No - I haven't. Hmmm, must look at that one.

Anonymous,
I really do like Haloscan, however, they don't keep your comments forever - looking at my archives is sad because there are NO COMMENTS WHATSOEVER. Like, I have been posting all this time with no comments? Very sad. Anyway - that was what ultimately pushed me back to Blogger. I will give you the "word verification" comment, though because I must be blind or stupid - I always have to type it in at least twice before I get it. However, we live in the age of Spam, so word verification is a must.

It looks awesome. Zoot always does such a good job.

Yeah, I love sheep until I had to catch one for a class. They smell and try to bite you. And they're greasy. But your's are cute!

Looks great! Dare I say it, the background color is eerily close to the color of my troubled Fuzzy Reception Cardi. I do love that shade of green.

I know what you mean about sheep. They are cute--at a distance, but up close? Not so much. Can you say dingleberries?

Oh, and I meant to say also that even though I'm keeping Haloscan on my blog, I think Blogger has really improved it's commenting system, since a year or so ago when I dumped it.

It does suck that Haloscan doesn't keep all the comments.

Don't get me wrong - I love the redesign, but it makes it a tad harder to read at work. It definitely doesn't look like a work-related site, what with the fluffy, munching sheep and all. Can you give one a tie or something? ;-)
