For 5.5 years, this has been such a common sight in our house. While I cannot give him too much credit for Anjali, our little narcoleptic, Manoj does deserve full marks for still being able to get Arun to sleep.

Tomorrow is our 8 year wedding anniversary and I have been teasing Manoj that we need to celebrate the union of our love. After all, there is so much to celebrate.

We are so very, very lucky.

Multiple Personalities

I Tweet, therefore I am. Enjoy even more banalities in my life on Twitter.

I serve as the resident Paparazzo for our kids. As such, my favorite Simian Snaps can be found amongst the Flickrage.

I like to talk about books and other sundry items around here. Let me be clear: Any and all products discussed here on Rancid Raves are things that I purchased with my very own grubby paws. I paid money for these items. I have a review site, Queen of the Free Bees for any products that I have received expressly for the purpose of reviewing.

I love hanging out on GoodReads and obsessively adding books that I read years ago.

I have a site about breastfeeding called A BoobLog that talks a bit about my experiences with breastfeeding. My girls may not be big or perky, but they did what was expected of them with few complaints. The site is now dormant since Anjali weaned at 18 months in January of 2009.

A recovering workaholic, currently in the 12 Step program to Getting a Life. I worked my ass off to get a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, a CPA license but then threw it all away in one fell swoop after giving birth to the results of my 2005 DNA Project. I am now a full-time mother to my son, Arun. He arrived in October 2005 already needing a HAIRCUT on the delivery table. My God, the HAIR. I joined the Exclusive 2 Under 2 Club when we had our daughter Anjali in July 2007 and again, can you do the baby sign for HAIR? My very most favorite guy in the whole wide world happens to be my husband, X, who puts up with not only my filthy mouth and obsessive nature, but also my honest temper, aggressive driving habits and crappy taste in television. X is Indian - as in INDIA, the Land of Curry and the Infamous Asian Head Bob. He's really awesome, but actually doesn't do the head bob. Much to my disappointment. This blog is forever sarcastic and irreverent, but rest assured that 5 days out of 7, I stop to think how utterly fortunate I am to have such an incredibly blessed existence after surviving a very unhappy, tumultuous, alcohol-hazed decade known as my 20s.
